Ofsted Report

Explore
Our last Ofsted Inspection was in January 2022. The school was judged as ‘Good with Outstanding Feature'. Read the report below.

School Policies

Explore
Printed versions of school policies are available from the school office. Please contact the school office for the policy you wish to see.

Pupil Premium

Explore
The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

Sports Premium

Explore
The Department for Education (DfE) are spending over £450 million on improving physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools over the 3 academic years. The funding was first issued for the academic year 2013/2014 and has continued since. The funding will be allocated directly to primary schools to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all pupils.

Catch Up Premium

Explore
Children and young people across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19). Those from the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds will be among those hardest hit. The aggregate impact of lost time in education will be substantial, and the scale of our response must match the scale of the challenge.

Performance Data

Explore
Every year, pupils in Year 2 (Key Stage 1) and Year 6 (Key Stage 2) sit statutory tests, known as Statutory Attainment Tests, or SATs. Pupils in Year 1 also sit a phonics screening test. The results of these tests are published for public knowledge. Nationally, assessment results for 2019/20 and 2020/21 were not published as performance measures due to the impact of Coronavirus. Results published here are from the most recent publication of performance measures, in 2018/19.

Equality

Explore
De Beauvoir Primary School, like the other schools in the Primary Advantage Federation, is inclusive. We focus on the well-being and progress of every child and we are committed to ensuring all members of our community are of equal worth.

SEND

Explore
The Department for Education (DfE) published a new special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) Code of Practice on 30 July 2014. It came into force from 1 September 2014, replacing the previous 2001 Code. The Code of Practice (2014) covers the 0-25 age range and includes guidance relating to children and young people with a disability as well as those with special educational needs (SEN).

Safeguarding

Explore
At De Beauvoir, our prime responsibility is to ensure that all children are safe.
